We do not make any representations as to potential tenants' or roommates' credit worthiness, rental history or ability to pay rent. SeattleRenter will make no warranty for the suitability or compatibility of any individual as a roommate or tenant or to the accuracy of any information provided by Web site users. SeattleRenter cannot be held responsible for any events that transpire through use of our service. It is the sole risk and responsibility of each participant to post contact information on this Web site, or to contact other participants. Always use the same caution when contacting or meeting participants as you would when contacting or meeting people you do not know.

SeattleRenter generally does not review comments provided with rental ads, and responsibility for the content is that of the posting party. Normally, this means that we passively post comments that are provided with listings without taking any active steps to review, edit or approve the comments. SeattleRenter is not responsible for the content of comments posted on its Web site. If you believe a posting party is not acting responsibly, please contact us so that we may review the ad. We reserve the right to refuse to post any listing for any reason, or to edit content, should we feel it is inappropriate for posting.

Restrictions on Use of Materials   Rental information is provided for purposes of locating rental housing for personal use only. No material from this Web site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, without the prior written permission of SeattleRenter. If viewer uses the Information for purposes of solicitation of goods or services, free or otherwise, or for any purpose other than that of locating a rental unit for personal use without permission, viewer agrees to pay SeattleRenter $10,000 for each incidence of solicitation or wrongful use.

Limitation of Liability   Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall SeattleRenter be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials in this site. In no event shall SeattleRenter's total liability to Web site user for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence) or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing this site. SeattleRenter cannot guarantee that every client will find housing through our service.  A link to a service or site outside of the SeattleRenter Web site is not an endorsement of the service or site, its content, or its sponsoring organization.

Jurisdiction / Venue  The formation, construction, and interpretation of this agreement shall be controlled by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A, as such law applies to agreements between California residents entered into and to be performed within California. Any dispute relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in San Francisco County, State of California, U.S.A., and you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction and venue of these courts. You agree that your dispute will not be heard by a jury and may not be made part of a class action.
